Here are Public Agencies that Win Public Information Disclosure Awards

The Jakarta Information Commission (KI) holds an award event for Public Agencies within Jakarta Provincial Government regarding information disclosure at the Great Hall of Jakarta City Hall.

Public information service performance has improved significantly from years to years in every public agency

This event is the peak of information service evaluation conducted towards 28 of total 72 public agencies in Jakarta Provincial Government.

Jakarta Information Commission Head, Alamsyah Basri mentioned, this award becomes a proof of every public agency which is committed to realize the Law No. 14/2008 about Public Information Disclosure.

"Public information disclosure is not only lip service, but it should continue. It needs collaboration and innovation to realize it thus Jakarta can be an advanced city with happy citizens," he stated.

Based on evaluation results from departments, agencies, bureaus, BUMDs, municipalities, regency, and RSUDs, the average participation rate has increased.

"Public information service performance has improved significantly from years to years in each public agency," he explained.

Person in Charge for Jakarta Information Commission Award, Wa Ode Asmawati explained, 17 public agencies have received public information disclosure awards.

This year's public information service assessment was added with criteria of social media use and innovation development in their respective public agencies.

"This year's evaluation is quite competitive. Many of public agencies that didn't get rank last year but achieve the award this year due to great progress," she explained.

Jakarta Deputy Governor in Population Control and Settlement Department, Suharti stated, Jakarta Government would continue its commitment to be an informative province.

"In the future, we will be better. Jakarta Governor said we will keep innovating and collaborating to realize Jakarta as an advanced city with happy citizens," she asserted.

In this chance, public information disclosure for municipality category was achieved by the West Jakarta Administration, while the first place for department category was achieved by the Industry and Energy Department.

Meanwhile, Bappeda won for agency category, PT. Transjakarta for BUMD category, Tarakan RSUD for hospital category, and Social Welfare Bureau for bureau category.
